(More customer reviews)I would agree that it would be difficult to judge how full the trays are with the top on...but I remove the top..fill the trays..put the top back on and I'm good to go. They tops are great easy to use..and this keeps the freezer burn off my ice cubes which is what I was looking for. Great product..it does exactly what I want it to do and is well made. I've already given one to a friend, and she loves it as well. (Note...this come with 2 trays and 2 tops. I incorrectly assumed it was just 1 tray and 1 top.)
