Tried multiple different recipes and even ran 2 separate trials with this machine next to my original,very tired Oster machine. The worn out machine made a great batch, this one, zilch.

(More customer reviews)I bought two packs of these Shot Glass Molds and I love them! I was inspired when I visited the Ice Bar in Orlando and they had full size glasses made out of ice! I was so happy to find something similar online for not that much money. They are very easy to use. Just fill up, leaving a little room at the top, and stick in the freezer. Once they are frozen, just run under some cold water and press gently around the sides until it pops out. Sometimes the bottoms don't come out perfectly smooth, but you can kind of take a knife ran under hot water and smooth them out if it really matters to you.

I'm not crazy about the somewhat brittle material the pitchers are made from, but they're perfect replacements, and for the price (2 for $24.99 as opposed to one for $16.99) it's nice to have one on hand for backup. If I needed to, I'd certainly purchase this item again.

I found this valve on Amazon - great deal on price and the seller had good reviews. The seller is wonderful, shipping was extremely fast and packaging was ideal. The installation was incredibly easy - just take out the old and hook up the new. I was hoping this new part would solve my problems and so I anxiously watched/listened for the pump sound and sure enough...water was shooting down the ice maker tube and now my ice maker runuth over!!!!!

The crisper drawers had to be replaced within the first 3 months. The freezer frosts up without warning and nothing can be done to prevent it.Thick frost on everything. Lemon.

(More customer reviews)I've had an ice cream maker for years and when it needed replacing I purchased the Deni 5101. All seems well until the ice cream starts to thicken (about 6 minutes into it) on the bottom, it stops the paddle from moving and then the canister just stops turning. Maybe the motor is not powerful enough to keep the canister turning to make the ice cream. All I can do with the "slush" is put it in the fridge to
thicken & harden it somewhat. What a disappointment!!
I wasn't smart enough to save the invoice so therefore I can't return it.

(More customer reviews)I bought this Melissa and Doug sand toy (Cupcake Maker) along with two others by Melissa and Doug, the Cookie Maker and the Ice Cream Cone Maker, for my daughter's 4th birthday. These sand toys are awesome! I bought a sand/water table by Little Tykes (the one with the green umbrella) and filled both sides, the sand and water side, with sand. I added just the right amount of water to make perfect sand for building. I put four little chairs around the sand table and my 4 children, ages 4, 7, 10, and 12 all love playing in this sand "box" (table actually). I tried out the sand toys myself and found so many different and creative ways to use them. I highly recommend this sand toy along with the other ones by Melissa and Doug. For those of you who are confused as to the purpose of the little icing utensil, it is used to "decorate" the cupcakes. The pointed end pokes little holes, and the jagged end makes jagged marks... all of which is FUN for kids (and adults lol). Buy this... you won't regret it!

(More customer reviews)When I first got this I followed the directions on the box for chocolate cookie ice cream exactly (which specified refrigerating the mixture for 30 minutes and freezing the gel canisters for 24 hours). This gave me something at about the consistency of a runny milkshake. My second try involved refrigerating the mixture for 18 hours and freezing the gel canisters for around 36 hours. That was more of a thick milkshake.
My winning formula was refrigerating the mix overnight and freezing the canisters for a week in a 0 degree (F) deep freezer. This produced fairly soft ice cream, but still definitely ice cream (it did harden in the freezer afterward). I haven't yet experimented to see what the minimum time for a refreeze is, but bringing them down from room temperature the first time took a very long time.
If you want to make smallish batches of ice cream fairly often, then this is the ice cream maker for you. It doesn't require you to get bagged ice to cool the mixture, and the gel canisters collapse to take up less space in your freezer if you just store them there full time. If, on the other hand, you want large batches or only want to make ice cream for special occasions you're probably better off with a bagged ice and rock salt model.

(More customer reviews)I highly recommend this ice cube tray for freezing homemade baby food. The lid just sits on top, so it doesn't get stuck and is tall enough that it doesn't smash the food being frozen. The food "cubes" are super easy to get out if you just run some warm water over the bottom, then hold the tray upside down over the lid and punch the flexible bottom of each compartment - the "cubes" just fall right into the lid! Very convenient! The compartments only hold 1/2 oz. each, half the size of standard ice cube trays, but that just makes it easier to defrost, so I don't see that as a negative. I originally ordered two of these, but for the bulk of food I make, I think I may buy two more. (Just as a clue for how much they hold, one pureed sugar pumpkin filled up two trays with a little pumkin left over.)
